BOARD OF DIRECTORS

John Fulkerson, M.D.
President/Treasurer

Dr. Fulkerson has authored many scientific articles, chapters and books on patellofemoral pain. He has served on or is serving as a director on Boards of Orthopedic Associates of Hartford, Arthroscopy Association of North America, Greater Hartford Orthopedic Education and Research Foundation, Litchfield Land Trust and the journal, Arthroscopy. He has been team doctor for U.S. Olympic Ice Hockey, the NHL Hartford Whalers, and the AHL Hartford Wolfpack and is currently Sports Medicine fellowship director and Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Eric F. Dahlinger
Secretary

Mr. Dahlinger offers over 20 years of experience and success on the corporate side of orthopedics and endoscopy. He has held numerous positions that began in sales and has advanced steadily into sales and marketing management for major market leaders. His creativity and relationships have delivered significant improvements to the industry and numerous patents issued and pending for related product designs. He has undergone surgery to resolve patellofemoral pain.

Jack Farr, M.D.

Dr. Farr, a practicing orthopaedic surgeon, is the Medical Director of the Cartilage Restoration Center of Indiana, a board member of the Cartilage Research Foundation and a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. He is active in clinical investigation of new cartilage restoration techniques and has special interest in their potential applications in the patellofemoral joint.

 

Eric Jania

Mr. Jania offers over 10 years of business management and marketing experience in the medical device industry. His specific focus has been product management - working with surgeons to successfully address patient needs through product development in the orthopedic market. Mr. Jania is currently employed by the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation (MTF) as a Senior Product Manager for New Technologies. MTF is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality tissue, services and devices to meet the needs of donors, their families, recipients and the surgical community.

Peter Jokl, M.D.

Dr. Jokl is professor and Vice Chairman in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at Yale University. He directs the sports medicine program at Yale Medical School and has published widely in the field of sports medicine. He is an associate editor of the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Jokl is serving or has served as medical commissioner for the 1995 World Special Olympics and medical director for the Pilot Pen Tennis Tournaments.

Ivan Lendl

Mr. Lendl has won eight grand slam tennis tournaments and was #1 tennis player in the world 1985, 1987, and 1989. He is currently pursuing a career in golf and altruistic efforts which include assisting disabled young people as well as The Patellofemoral Foundation.

Philippe Neyret, M.D.

Dr. Neyret is Professor and Chief of Orthopedics Department in Lyon (France), after the famous Alfred Trillat and Henri Dejour. The Lyon school is known for its expertise in the field of knee surgery and particularly patellofemoral disorders. The Lyon team has published results of many clinical investigations and books. Dr. Neyret serves many prestigious international societies such as ISAKOS, ESSKA, EFORT... He has particular interest in sport and soccer injuries.

 

Anthony Schepsis, M.D.

Dr. Schepsis is Professor and Director of Sports Medicine at Boston University, as well as Sports Medicine fellowship director and head team physician at BU. He is serving or has served on numerous educational committees and programs and is a leader nationally and internationally in the field of sports medicine.
